package: unification of name <pkg>_VERSION_MAJOR variable 



Currently there are two different names of the major version variable:
<PKG>_MAJOR_VERSION and <PKG>_VERSION_MAJOR
This patch unifies them to <PKG>_VERSION_MAJOR
